Staffworks is Hiring a 1st Shift Machine Operator Near Liverpool, NY
Machine Operator
Schedule:
Monday – Friday
7:00am – 3:30pm
Pay:
$16.00 per hour
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and write effectively
- Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions
- Ability to understand basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- Proven ability to successfully multi-task
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a variety of roles
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand for whole shift, bend, lift, twist, reach, pull, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints
General Duties:
- Ensure equipment and die cutting presses are set up and conforming with company quality, quantity, and efficiency standards
- Sets up and operates equipment according to instructions, specifications, and standard work instructions
- Reads job cards and other specifications to ensure the proper setup sequence is followed
- Sets and adjusts necessary controls to run equipment
- Maintains a clean, neat, clutter free, and organized work area
- Performs other related duties as assigned
